Product Description

Calcium chloride plays a role in concrete in helping to speed up the initial setting, but chloride ions can cause corrosion of the rebar, so calcium chloride cannot be used for reinforced concrete. Anhydrous calcium chloride can provide concrete with a certain degree of moisture because of its hygroscopicity.
